2026 Financial Plan (budget) Public Hearing

July 21, 2026

Drop-In Centre 53 Main Street N, Rossburn MB

At this time, Council will present a REVISED 2026 Financial Plan for the municipality.  The presentation will provide an overview of the revisions to the proposed financial plan followed by a forum for questions and comments from the public. The purpose of the hearing is to allow any interested person to make representation or ask questions.

The new public hearing is being held to withdraw the proposed special service tax under Special Service Proposal No. 2026-001. The legislated process to obtain Municipal Board approval has been delayed and to ensure 2026 tax statements are issued by the August 31, 2026 deadline, the costs under Special Service Proposal No.2026-01 will be shifted from a per parcel tax rate to the General Municipal (mill) tax rate.

Copies of the Revised 2026 Financial Plan are available for review at the municipal office 43 Main Street N. Rossburn, MB R0J 1V0 during regular office hours.
