Recycling Depot

Did you know that over 80% of most household waste is in fact recyclable? Instead of ending up in the landfill, many items can be recycled into new products! Being aware of what you put in the garbage and choosing to recycle everything that is acceptable is an easy way to help our community go green and have less material end up in our landfills. Recycling has never been easier, thanks to our recycling depot!

Our recycling depot is located on Main Street beside the high school, and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to the public. It is available for anyone in the municipality to drop off household recycling ONLY. The recycling depot can accept the majority of household recycling, including plastic products, paper products, aluminum and steel products, carboard and boxboard, and cartons. A full list of acceptable and unacceptable items can be found at the bottom of the page.

For products that are not accepted in our recycling program, consider trying to reuse these products in other ways, such as arts and crafts.
